Why won't your bank give you 80k in cash? They'll fill out a form for the feds but they should give you the cash. Especially a large bank like BoA.

If you set it up ahead of time, then maybe. Normally, banks don't have this kind of cash on hand to give out. When I worked at another large nationally known bank, we might have around 100k total in our vault. We wouldn't give 80k to one person at the drop of a hat.

They will. You need to give them a one day notice to adjust their cash delivery for the next day, but that's all there is to it. I've made a few 6 figure withdrawals from BofA without incident. (You'll obv ned to fill out a CTR.)

Its your money. The only thing they should say is "Would you like anything other than 100's?"

And as others have said, let the bank know ahead of time so they can order the cash.

Shouldnt this be a non-issue if your bank has a branch in LV? I plan on taking like 10-15k in cash but the rest i figure i can just get out of my bank account (hopefully wont need to)

Next time cut a bank check (cashier's check) to yourself if you cant get to a branch with money, then head to bellagio and one day later they will give you bellagio chips, which is as good as gold.
