It is easier to play Chinese poker close to optimally but the edge is not particularly large I would think. The average player is going to play good enough at C-poker to make variance a real pain for pretty much anyone. Add to that the fact that the average player at the WSOP is better than the average player in general and I can't really believe that pros feel they have that big an advantage in a WSOP event in Chinese Poker or in general at stakes that are medium to large.

Still, I would love for them to add Chinese Poker to the schedule again because if there was an event I stood a shot at winning it would be that one, hehe.
