i'd usually throw in a block bet, c/cc (check/crying call) against some opponents, c/f against others. the only thing you beat now is a bluff.
also - bet pot on flop, 2/3 pot on the turn, you are probably still good, and flushes c/r or cold call anyway, so you have an easier decision later on, because you've shown strength. with your flop bet you could have QJo for what I know. |

Block bets aren't going to work on the river too well because straights will MOSTLY just call and flushes will reraise, and that comprises a large percentage of his hand here. When you are re-raised, which I feel will happen quite often, you're done. When you are called, you are almost always beat, unless this player totally sucks, and you really can't know that yet. I check, if he bets like 150 or something ass, just call, otherwise, let it go.
