Re: Best shoes for walking?
My dryjoys have only gotten more comfortable over time. The most expensive piece of equipment I own but worth it.

Re: Best shoes for walking?
Does anybody have any opinion on DryJoys vs. DryJoys PRO? Worth the extra money for the "PRO" version or are they essentially the same thing?

Re: Best shoes for walking?
Oakley shoes run .5 size smaller than others(Nike, FJ, Adi, etc), get one half size bigger.

Re: Best shoes for walking?
I would steer away from Nikes, they hurt my feet for walking more than 9.

Re: Best shoes for walking?
My guess is that ECCO's should be among the best for walking. I have 2 pairs of their regular shoes and they are extremely comfortable for walking; very solidly built etc. I have Adidas now and they are ok, but not great.
I have never seen any Golf mag review of golf shoes specifically for walking. Has anyone else? I would think the shoes geared for Americans have little consideration for walking since the average one of us is a big fat cart riding sloth. |

Re: Best shoes for walking?
Well, I went to the golf shop today to try on some DryJoys Pro and GF:IIs (so much for my $130 limit). DryJoys were bleh in comparison to the GF:IIs. They had last year's GF:IIs (which the guy says is the same [censored] as this year's model, except it was made last year) on clearance for like $109-$119 depending on size and color - great!
However, I want them in black and they only have black/brown and white/brown. I can get black 11.5M online, but I'm a 12M. I tried the 11.5M and they feel about the same as the 12M, but I know the minute I buy 11.5M online and start walking in them they aren't going to feel comfortable anymore. Only way to get a 12M black is to order this year's model for $170. UGH! Decision time. =( |

Re: Best shoes for walking?
guys, what do you think of golf shoes sold at big 5? are they no good? I read all your comments and the shoes you talk about are in the $100+ range. At big 5 I can get this for 50 bucks or this for 30 bucks

Re: Best shoes for walking?
Echo's are the most comfortable hands down. Probably all out of his price range though.
