Re: Why sit alone on tables?
to expand on people who said game selection, they would rather wait for someone to take a shot than play each other SH

I have a more important question: Why do I see grimstarr playing 300/600 HU on 1 table, 200/400 HU on another, and playing 25/50 6 handed on another table (possibly even lower than 25/50). The guy is nuts. [/ QUOTE ] lol you say this like 25/50nl is peanut stakes or something |

Re: Why sit alone on tables?
because the point of playing online poker is trying to make money as easy post possible. why the hell would a great player want to willingly sit down against another known shark? the money would just keep moving back and forth between them.

Re: Why sit alone on tables?
but I mean if you have played 3/6HU (even if taking shot vs donk), you prolly have $1.5m roll. and playing 5/10 or 10/20 is kind of like wasting time. I mean, obv 10/20 is sick money, and even sicker if you smash the game up, but in the end, you need to be running at like 60bb/100 @ NL 10/25 to = 3.75bb/100 @ 100/200.
BTW, I am not arguing here, I play uNL, so obv I am out of my element, I'm just pointing out that (to me) playing such a wide range of stakes is crazy. |

Re: Why sit alone on tables?
Meh, depends on what you want out of the game. Personally I'd do it the way Grimm does it, practicing good game selection. My goal isn't to be known as the best player, it's to win the most money.
