Ask her to let you see her camera for a minute.
Whale on it with a hammer.
Say you are sorry.
Give her the new camera.

Has she ever said things like "this camera sucks" or "I wish this camera would take better pictures"?

If so, then buy her one.

If not, then don't.

This really isn't that hard.

She has said things like 'all the pictures come out red' and, 'im still not used to figuring it out' (the interface sucks).

I blame all this on Party Poker by the way.

Buy her the camera but also give her something of nominal $ value but takes some sort of time/consideration/emotion.

Buy her some sessions with a relationship counselor, because if that's "pretty much the only thing you can think of," I guess you don't know each other very well.

Otherwise, buy a puppy and put it in a basket in the middle of the room, surround the basket with rose petals, and put on some Bebe and Cece Wayans, then make sweet love to her.

Your girlfriend, not the puppy. Your girlfriend probably would not appreciate a display of pedophilic beastiality as her birthday present.

Unless she's one of my ex's, but that's another story.

What was I saying?

I personally think it's a bad idea since she already has a camera. I'd get her something more thoughtful.

Make her a card out of dried macaroni and glitter to go with the camera.

This post makes me glad I don't currently have a girlfriend. I'm like the worst gift giver on Earth.

I'm confused as to why you think it isn't a good idea to get your gf a nice, new camera that she will use and enjoy. I would assume she would prefer this to something more original but way less practical, like a piece of jewelry.

[/ QUOTE ]

jewelry, that's original.
