i think AT utg is marginally okay if you are sick postflop

marginally bad if you are really good postflop

and pretty bad if you aren't really good postflop

and i think that you probably aren't good enough pf to make that happen

its no offense, i dont think I am either

i draw the line for myself at AJo

i know some really good players who fold that

i cant give you exact cause it all depends

but just think about this

you have to play pretty damn straight forward OOP
but you can do anything IP

so i'd say, a good place to start is to play less OOP

ATo really is not that powerful of a hand. I don't like it unless I'm pushing the later positions. UTG, I suppose I'll limp once in a while, but I don't make a habit of doing that.

OP, interesting hand. I'm really thinking that I don't get away from this. If they have an overpair, good for them. If they have A5o, good for them. Else, good for us. I call and either stack them or add on. Hope I'm right for your sake.

Kolo,

Did you give consideration to checking the turn?

i used to always raise ATo pf. but after hearing alot of players tell me its no goot, i sortve stopped.

i dont think its as bad in our games tbh. players are generally passive and we'll be able to win the majority of our pots with a std c-bet. but in tougher games, i can definitely see how folding is better.
