wow if this isn't a super easy bet i have no idea how to play poker. I think its close if you had A5.

also something to consider is you're getting check raised just about never and you know him more than we do. when something happens so rarely it makes sense that people shy away from attempting to answer what to do in that spot.

the only logical hand for him to have if he check raises the river is 33. if you think he checkraise bluffs enough to call, then call. holla.

b/c.. If he has AT, or a stupidly played set.. good for him. Seems like he has the nads to c/r air.

bet calling ...

his line looks like a showdown line and is likely to call with an unimproved big ace or a smaller pocket pair (and drunk enough to get fancy on the end) ... I would also include A6 and A5 ... also maybe something like K6s

though I think he's also likely to have JTs, T9s (in one of the flop colours)

i doubt he has a higher pocket pair than top pair (as he is likely to raise or donk the flop)

i didn't think for very long before value betting the river. villain did indeed c/r. i thought for a while and decided that his line makes no sense as a bluff (i have shown nothing but strength the entire hand and he should perceive me as tight) and that it had to be for value. so i folded.

He might have you beat but I'd bet. You aren't getting check/raised so don't even worry about that aspect. If he has 99 so it be (I would highly consider playing 99 this way).
