bet/call on this turn. there will be plenty of hands coming along for the ride. you cannot narrow his range strictly to a diamond draw/larger pair. there is still a ton of value here on the turn.

given the way we got there, i would bet the river for value.

What are you guys hoping to get value from after the turn? Im honestly curious if Im missing huge value by not betting this river. surely only 1010 and JJ ever call you 100%, and when you get raised are you ready to dump?

[/ QUOTE ]

People call 3bets with some pretty weird hands, if any of those hands has a 9 in it, you likely get value, TT-JJ, 66-88 sometimes, and a surprising amount of hero calls from donks with ace high.

Im not attempting to narrow it to only those hands. and Im not giving diamonds much thought here. What does villain raise UTG (no reads were even given) and calls a 3bet with? probably AK/AQ and pocket pairs. Only two pocket pairs really want to pay you off, and most of the rest beat you.

Given that no reads/stats were given, I am considering this hand vs "standard 25nl donk" and his range is much wider than AK/AQ and PPs

Fair enough. And im not familiar with 25nl right now, so I cant say I know better than someone who's playing alot at that level.

If i had a read that this player is a donk then the value bet makes more sense. However, I would have bet the turn instead.

Any 25NL player is a fish by definition

I like a value bet here for sure. Hero bets $7-$9 or something
