It could be a ploy by a strong ace to checkraise me, or it could be fear of the heart. I don't mind taking a free shot at the flush draw. |

I think calling down to the river unless a non heart K comes is fine.
Obviously bet the river if the turn goes c/c and he checks river |

there's a lot of strange advice in this thread.
there are two ways to play this hand assuming we never improve: - fold the flop - call/call/call this talk about raising the flop "for a cheap showdown" is very silly (you either get punished or let villain fold a worse hand on the cheap). this talk about peeling with ~3.5 outs in a 7.5 SB pot is also very silly. |
