kind of hard to put a range like that with out any other information ... [/ QUOTE ] I agree. However I thought when he donked instead of c/r, he might have had a small pp, some type of straight draw... [ QUOTE ] you say TAG ... what is that to you? [/ QUOTE ] 2p2 pf TAG stats with a post-flop AF a little below 2 [ QUOTE ] if you are going to call the flop and turn because you think you are ahead ... why not raise the flop since you 3bet preflop? [/ QUOTE ] I called the flop because I usually don't like folding for one bet if I had 3-bet the previous street (for metagame purposes) |

However I thought when he donked instead of c/r, he might have had a small pp, some type of straight draw... [/ QUOTE ] donking a Ten here is much better than a check raise IMO ... I do it all the time in the hopes that you have an ace and will over-play it (and it also gets call downs from weaker than ace hands all the time) ... I doubt it's something like QJ I would say Ten-x, Ace-x, mid/low pockets ... so that probably get a call on the river [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] you say TAG ... what is that to you? [/ QUOTE ] 2p2 pf TAG stats with a post-flop AF a little below 2 [/ QUOTE ] that's still pretty wide category [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] if you are going to call the flop and turn because you think you are ahead ... why not raise the flop since you 3bet preflop? you make it so complicated from preflop, remember you are only playing a small pot. I will probably call the river because im getting 1/7

i would consider raising the turn versus some villains.
on the river, considering the situation(blind v. blind) it's a pretty easy call since you just outran a good portion of pocket pairs in his range. |

I 3bet with much worse hands than this. Initiative w/ position does wonders vs. anybody w/ a wide range.
