Dying is really bad for your personal utility. I would give any amount of money to improve my chance of living by basically any amount in this scenario. I mean I guess if I had a 44.999999999999999999% chance of living, and I had to give 100% of my net worth to improve to 45%, I guess I'd just say screw it, but any sort of non-neglible percentage improvement I'd give everything I had for it.
I have marketable skills and could get by long enough on the generosity of friends/family to rebuild my worth if I survived, and if I died I think my friends/family would understand why I left them nothing once they realized what happened to the money.

the problem with this poll is that the majority of posters here have a net worth close to zero.
asking how many years' earnings you'd give up, for example, would be more reasonable.
