When I call a raise OOP and it is HU I check 99% of the flops, that sort of negates some of the positional disadvantage on the flop. If you usually bet your good hands here, he will have the worlds easiest bet with ATC when you check. Plus you gain a cb when he has nothing. But the main thing is you get to see what he does first before you have to commit money to the pot.

When he cbs so little, IŽd be inclined to cr for value and protection. Although beware that some villains bet small with big pairs here for reasons unknown.
