Pokertracker will import hands from many different sites. Some sites require another third party application to save the hand histories(Ultimate bet, bodog, to name a few), pokerstars is one of the sites that saves handhistories itself so you need not worry about this. Pokertracker is not the application that displays the stats, that is either gametime+(free) or pokerace (25$).

You must have pokertracker actively importing hands from your handhistory directory for gametime/pokerace to work. The stats displayed are retrieved from your pokertracker hand history database. If you do not already have pokertracker, then gametime/pokerace will not display any stats overlays onto your tables.

i just got pokeracehud working the other day.
i downloaded the trial version, and set it up completely following this: PokerAceHud Tutorial
follow it using the site you want to set up PAHUD to, and it will work on only one table w/ the trial version.

Remember to have PokerTracker open and running, otherwise PAHUD won't work.

Ok one more question, whoever answers it the first/best gets 5 bucks.

I got everything to work except for actually being able to see the stats as i'm sitting down at the table. Like it is recording the hand history, and showing what happened last hand, but for some reason the stats for each player is not showing on the screen. What do I do to get this?
