I don't like slowplaying in these spots. I'd prefer a BIG flop check-raise (perhaps even all-in). If the villain missed, how much more are you expecting to get from him? There are very few turn cards that will make him put more money into the pot.

If he has something, you can goad him into calling an all-in check-raise, as he may decide to "put you on a draw".

I always bet this flop. I'm not sure how to comment on the hand without it so i'll say this: Fastplaying is the new slowplay.

Do anything but check call, check. it's terrible. As played a bigger block bet is probably better.

That is a keeper.

Thanks for the other advice as well ... I haven't posted here much, but I've read plenty! I will definitely change how I play a hand like this in the future.
