1) not full ring at all...

2) What is so unsure about the preflop raise? Pretty sure thats standard for 95% of 25/50 players.

3) bet.

How much do you bet on river, given effective stack sizes, and what do you do when he crAI shvoes.

My read on the hand was as follows. He is never floating OOP on this flop/turn (maybe flop, but not flop+turn). Therefore, he had trips at bare minimum when he calls turn.

Are naked trips going to pay me off on a river bet? I also felt that if he was housed he would CRAI because I am either bluffing or have a flush/trips and he expects me to value bet.

Stack sizes make this hand really awkard, so bet sizing on all streets is very important, and knowing that he has a monster (either flush or trips or house) always given this action makes this hand really weird to play,

thanks,

Dave,

I agree with others about the bet size, 2300-3000 or so. If he shoves I would call- tho this is the part i am least sure of. I haven't played w/ ike in a while, but he was really good iirc.

5handed this is a raise 100% of the time, there is nothing nonstandard here. I think you should definately put in a wealthy sized bet on the river and in most cases call an allin. Have you any idea what Ike would call in the SB with this deep ? I assume we can agree he would raise QQ for sure and AsKs, (AsJs) so the only hands beating us at the river are 66 and As2s - AsTs (without As6s and As3s). I assume he would fold 33 on the flop, unless he tries a sick weird OOP float. 77 might call some of the time, but I doubt he would call the turn in many cases so I pretty much rule out any other fullhouse. Why should he check/call turn and check the river? I have a hard time believing he would play 66 that slow, but it might be possible... What was his timing on the flop and turn and have you seen him slowplaying a house in that way before?
I don't see a chance to muck this hand if the only holdings are a nutflush and 66 that could beat us. YOu are only 165bb deep. The question is, bet a small on the river to induce a shove from a smaller fd or bet around 2700 and get called in many cases by a weaker flush or trips.

This hand seems super standard. Hell, I've been looked up by 88-JJ in this spot before...
