So Karen is gonna get the job at corporate? Not sure if I like that development. As much as everyone wants Jim and Pam to get together, the show would lose some of it's charm if it ever actually happened. I think Karen's presence in the office helps to keep the necessary Jim/Pam tension.

sucks i didn't actually call it in this thread, but my bud who i'm watching it with before the show i was like "just wait, theres no way in hell something between jim/pam is not gonna happen in this episode"

also, i think it's almost too obvious to have karen get the corporate job, but i wouldnt be surprised at all if she did maybe at the end of the season.

Pretty much dead on. Jim's expression at the end was priceless, though.

Pam's last 10 minutes saved an otherwise so-so episode. It had its moments, but not as many as some of the recent episodes.

yeah, first time in a while i've had a few kids in my room watching it w/ me and one of them actually got up and left during that pam speech. more of a drama episode than a comedy one for sure.

Also, "I just want to sit on the beach and eat hot dogs. That's all I've ever wanted to do."
