Re: grady little: worst person ever to live? srsly wtf
[ QUOTE ]
so Grady leaves Lowe in after the leadoff walk and gets a ground ball (double play?) that Betemit boots and that's Grady's fault? Ok. [/ QUOTE ] are you dim? he leaves him in and doesn't even have anybody warming up. the grounder to betemit was too slow, there was no way he gets a DP. then he STILL doesn't warm anybody up. then cabrera moves the runners over and grady comes out to talk to lowe about it. lowe goes right after willingham with first base open and he hits the first pitch he sees about a 800 feet. i mean, betemit sucks too, but even if he gets him it's 2nd base with one out and the heart of the order coming up, and you're telling me you don't even have someone WARMING UP? |

Knowing what he knows now, I bet he'd still stick with Lowe. He's his guy, and he's the one he'd go with.

Re: grady little: worst person ever to live? srsly wtf
cmon NT,
lowe had ~80 pitches entering the inning, broxton had pitched the previous two nights (throwing 28 pitches yesterday), saito the day before and lowe actually seems like the best choice on the roster with men on second and third and one out anyways. |

[/ QUOTE ] ok so broxton is cooked. but seriously, can you not even warm up saito? or somebody else? i mean it's not just that he chose to stick with lowe once he got to a certain point. he never had anybody up. he started the inning with 86, he's over 100 pitches when he faces willingham. to me, not walking willingham is equally dumb. |

If your fantasy league counted CG's you wouldn't even be complaining.
I think not IBB'ing was the only dumb decision. |

[/ QUOTE ] i have no problem sending him out for the 9th with 86 pitches. but for chrissakes get somebody up. it's not like saito can't give you 4 or 5 outs. even billingsley. anything. no IBB was probably the dumbest, but it was just one of those things where, watching it, i knew that grady wouldn't even consider going out to get d lowe, even if he got up to 110 pitches and he just needed one out from saito or something. i mean christ. |

Re: grady little: worst person ever to live? srsly wtf
Derek Lowe also has an absolute asstastic record of stranding runners that reach on errors. From 2003-2007 77 unearned runs. Wakefield has only given up 52 with all those passed balls and wild pitches that traditionally cause him to give up a lot. Curt Schilling has 5, none since 2004.
