i find that the bigger the monitor i play on, the more i lose money, i think it has to do with the higher energy bill?

but in all seriousness ltc - if you've never multitabled before, don't jump in with 4 or 6 tables, work with two for a while and get comfortable. you'll find that jumping right into a bunch of tables will negatively impact your game.

The size of your monitor has no [direct] influence on how many tables you can play. It's the resolution of your monitor. With 1600x1200 resolution you can fit 9 resized tables or 4 standard tables. It doesn't matter if the monitor is 10" or 50". The bigger monitor just makes it easier to see them.

So the max resolution is what determines your maxes, not the size of your monitor.

this is exactly right. and tvs have much lower resolutions than computer monitors. id expect you could play 2 tables WITH overlap (no resizing)

Well, regardless of whether it's actually this:

Its a 26 inch tv.

or this:

It doesn't matter...all that matters is the resolution. That will determine how many tables you can play without overlap.

My laptop is a 19" screen and can fit more tables than my Dell 20" monitor.

Saying stuff like, "I can fit 4 tables on a 20-inch so you should be able to fit more on a 26-inch" is completely incorrect.

As has been mentioned by others, you saying that it's a 26" screen doesn't say ANYTHING about it's resolution nor how many tables you could fit on it.

ok this is what it says.....

It’s easy to see – and hear – why Samsung's LN-T2642H is an exceptional value. It offers everything you want in a 26" wide-screen HDTV LCD, including a sleek, gloss-black frame to enhance any décor.

The 720p resolution and a 4000:1 contrast ratio combine in a remarkably crisp, high-quality picture with deep blacks and brilliant color, while its fast 8ms response time delivers smooth action sequences.

SRS TruSurroundXT™ produces full, 3-D sound from two side speakers. Full connectivity, including two HDMI ports, lets you plug in everything from PCs to video cameras and more.

720p won't give you very high resolution for computing. It is 1280 x 720, which is very small for a computer monitor. I'd go with a real monitor instead of a TV>

So it IS a TV. The resolution I found was 1366 x 768, which would make the answer....ONE, without overlap. Unless that resolution is incorrect, of course.
