[ QUOTE ] If you play "right" for the game you're playing, the stats will take care of themselves. [/ QUOTE ] Yea, what he said! [/ QUOTE ] QFT After 15k hands I am a 18/9 player. My VPIP or times I voluntarily put money in the pot is 18%. There are some good players who have much higher VPIP's because they play the right hands in the right positions against the right opponents. They maximize playing in pots with weak players and minimize play against strong players. PFR is your preflop raise percentage. I have seen some of my opponents around 4 percent yet are big winners in the micros. My weakness is navigating after the flop. I am getting better but this is a leak I need to fix. So in your case I will recommend studying on how to play AK, or overcards, after the flop if you miss. It's not always so cut and dry. There will be situations where calling, raising and folding will all be correct. Follow this link: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showfl...p;vc=1&nt=2 In case it does not show it was posted by Loyalguard and is titled "Overcards -A Compilation" post id 4932509 And this: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...age=0&vc=1 Credit to HouseCalls "1000th post - What I (should) Have learned in the Micros (tl;dr) " post id#6663526 There is some amazing stuff in those two links. If you read all this the stats will take care of itself. Man, I was bored tonight. Analyzing last session play now. Nite' Hope this helps, dude. |
