Ichabod i do not understand why you're chastising me. I have listened to what everybody on the boards have said and tried to integrate it in to my betting. I went as far as to program a system to help me handicap with precision and speed. I understand all lines aren't beatable, or even a majority but I have to test my system against any where I see 5% edge or more. If certain conditions hold true over the long run, and others fall short it will be easier to spot by looking at the history and doing comparisons. Yes, I could probably do that without betting the games, but there is more accountability when you are posting your picks in a public forum.

I appreciate that you're telling me I can't beat linesmakers on the majority of lines, but please understand that I'm new at this, and I'm going to have to crawl before I walk.

It's not that I insist on learning the hard way, it's that People saying 'pick less games' really doesn't give me any more of an idea. Whipsaw on the other hand has helped me quite a bit. We didn't see eye to eye on one thing, but I consider it extremely minor. I'm sure you're a great picker, but I'm not, and I don't see how picking less games in the beginning will help me pick better in the future.
