hmm why is a raise on the flop bad here?

[/ QUOTE ]

You fold out all hands you beat and get called/3bet by all those beating us.

but you find out where you stand!?!?
instead you risk calling down a stronger hand or getting pushed off your hand by a week one, or getting sucked out on. Seems like u dont define ur self what so ever. Seems like a loosing play to me.

Puma, Firstly, if he raises a worse hand rarely calls unless the guy is a complete donk. Secondly, There's a good chance AK is good here and villian is betting the flop, turn and river with worse hands.

So then by not rr on flop. We commit ourselves to calling down here? So then isnt his post pretty trivial. Why is he even asking if his decision was made on flop?

The question is not trivial. The question was whether I should call down or not on the turn and subsequently on the river. The decision was not made on the flop - flop is standard but I wanted to see what was standard for turn and river.

And please just accept you are wrong about raising flop, as many reasons why it is a bad play have already been posted.

Its hard to except something when no good arguments have been made against mine. This forum is to challlenge the
"standard thinking". I dont care what the standard line is i want to know why the steps i would take in this hand are wrong and -ev. If someone can come on here and refute my statements and makes good counter arguments ill gladly change my strategy and improve my play.

the flop raise is not to find out if we have the best hand or not, its to put the money in the pot cuz we have TPTK vs a bad player 40/11 re minraising pf, if we are beat so [censored] be it

you should only be calling down if you know he 3bet bluffs constantly with bad hands, and folds to aggression
