On different levels. You could have gotten really sucked in, and wasted a ton of your life. Or you could have been like me, and played the game, and not understood for a second why people play it.

I don't really like the premise of MMORPGs personally, but even if WoW were a single player game, I still wouldn't be interested, because it's just too big. I like to play games where I can potentially try/do everything eventually. Thinking of WoW, there's just too much to do, so I don't even want to get involved.

I think a crucial part of getting hooked on WoW is getting hooked on leveling and loot. If you're unconcerned about these things, I doubt you'll become obsessed.

It's also big as a social outlet that makes extremely low demands for anything other than gameplay skills, if that. And anybody can muster at least that up. It's kind of more social and less social than it would seem, and at the same time.
