Yeah, until very recently Costco had a completely unlimited time frame for returns.
You could literally buy a big screen TV, keep it for 5 years, return it for a full refund, then buy the latest model. Apparently it started getting abused (lol I wonder why), so they've revised the policy. |

Uber douche move. Stab yourself and die. Get an effing job if you want a big tv. If you have one and can't afford one, then get another one.
Besides it is the Kentucky Derby - that lasts like 2 minutes. You are going to take the time to set up a huge ass tv and then return it for that. Very retarded. |

I can't find RAC's fees online. Their TV's in stock do not appear to be that good. They require a credit check, a lot of forms, and I'm not sure if there are extra fees if I return it after a day. I'm pretty certain that they don't rent for less than a week. As far as I could tell, RAC and Conn's are just ways for poor people to pay $1k for a $300 TV.

People like OP are the reason that many companies don't have a better return policy.

Guys I'm gonna let you in on a little secret. You can return pretty much anything, at any time, to any retail store if you are willing to put up a fight. All major retailers are essentially the same so they think the only way to keep customers is to bend over backwards for them, and one way they do this is by taking returns.
No one in the store is getting paid enough to put up with you if you go in raising hell and demanding to return it. If managers get called in, they always side with the customer eventually if you keep bitching. This is from my experience at Wendy's and Macy's, it might be different for big ticket items but I highly doubt it. Cliff notes: If you are a big enough pain in the ass, you will always win vs. retail stores. This also makes you one of the biggest douches there is, but if that's cool with you then by all means go for it. |

answers are easy Sears and Walmart. Sears will take back any thing even if they dont sell it just to keep you as a customer. (This takes some doing) I used to work for them. If a customer is insistent they will get their way.
Wallmart will take anythnig back they sell with out receipts half the time |
