by the way, don't expect to win 1 in 5, even if they are really soft. live tournaments like that take such a huge rake and the structure is generally so bad that it's virtually impossible to keep that kind of win rate, even if you are phil ivey.
also, check your math as far as the $10/hr. how long was this tournament? if it was 2 hours, the dealers are making ~$30/hr. if it is 3 hours, it's probably still ~$20/hr. even at 4 hours, i'm betting it's close to ~$15/hr |

The first live tournament I ever played was in Arizona and it was a $150 buy in...I got third and got payed $1750 but because I was a canadian, they took $500 off in taxes. The manager asked me if I wanted to leave a little something for the dealers and I told them to get it from the US govt! Now way was I tipping after that robbery, but i guess it is the law down there in the good old USA.
