Why are people saying he has a Q? [/ QUOTE ] A big part of his flop calling range contains a Q (QQ/QJ) in particular. If he is any good he isn't calling with an underpair. If he is capable of turning an overpair into bluff here this becomes tough. Otherwise I don't see him having many made hands that flat the flop and then bluff off. I guess the most likely bluff is a jx that decided to call flop and bluff turn/river. But even then we are putting a lot of $ hoping that he is bluffing which I don't think happens that often. We could split but I don't think that adds a huge amount to our equity. |

how bout betting turn? [/ QUOTE ] Yes, I think that would probably have made things easier. The problem is that this probably only gets me calls from better hands and folds from worse ones. But still, against tricky opponents, I think this is the best line, while my line is better against an opponent who is straightforward or slightly uncomfortable in huge pots. |

I dont like the turn c/c and prefer a c/f or maybe a b/f. But when you came to the river this way I think you should call it even though its somewhat close.

B/f the turn is prob best for 1/2 pot on both streets. You'll get value and he'll never bluff raise.
