Outcome: MP1 wins 9.50 BB. </font> [/ QUOTE ] a year or so back i was having problems with the wireless router in my house. i was playing 10/20 online and a 5 way pot that was capped preflop. i flopped the nut straight with A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] with the nut flush draw, i put in the first bet(i coldcapped out of the BB i believe), it was raised and 3bet to me, i lost connection(i was out of disconnect protects b/c i had lost connection a ton that session and this happend before i could reset them)and my hand was folded. i don't know exactly what the final pot was, but i threw my laptop after that and had to purchase a new one. second PT database i had lost in 3 months, at the time. i feel your pain. i also never let my disconnect protects run out again. ever. i also bought a new router right after that.

Any chance the board paired giving someone a better hand? Or does that only happen when you stay in? I've had my share of computer problems. Got myself a super-duper computer about six months back. I reckon it has nearly paid for itself. I'm starting to think my connection isn't too super. I'll be looking into this if I want to play higher stakes.

[img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] unfortunately part of the problem with the disconnect was never seeing the results. seemed like i noticed one player's balance being higher. don't know why i didn't ask what happend and tell what i held. guess i'm just not a whiner like that...okay i really am. i was on my cell phone two seconds later.

Just a few words. Thanks to a lot of the way more experienced posters here, my LLHE game has really improved and my live winning sessions are increasing quite a bit. Starting to recognize more of my mistakes as well.

$1900, playing 10-20. I played 2-4 and 3-6 online. Borgata 10-20, 6 handed. Hero is UTG with 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Hero calls, three folds, small blind raises, big blind raises, hero caps, all call. K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] SB checks, BB bets, hero raises, SB calls, BB calls. Turn 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] SB checks, BB bets, hero calls, SB calls. River K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] SB checks, BB bets, hero calls, SB folds. Results: BB says "good call" and takes a walk when I show two black fives.

i need some good karma:
2/5NL 1st hand, just sat down at the new indian casino in my area: limpers to me in the BB with 33, i check. flop: 993r i bet pot, one caller directly to my left. turn: 9 i bet pot, caller calls river: some rag i check, he bets pot, i call "Quads on Ten!" doh. i limp A4 in EMP, callers. flop: A49 dude donks, i raise, he calls. turn: T dude goes all in, i call. he shows 99 doh. i get red aces on the button. i've had AK/AQ/AJ(i.e. PFR hands)a bunch in this orbit. i've raised them, missed the flop and eventually folded before showdown in basically all cases. i raise to $22 straight into 6 limpers, all fold. doh. i get QTs OTB. a LAG raises to $21 straight , 3 callers to me, i call, sb calls, bb folds. Flop: AAQ w/two diamonds checked to me, i bet 2/3 pot, sb calls, all fold. Turn: Q he checks, i check. River: K he bets pot, i call. he shows A5. these were all in the first hour. i was getting crushed. i sat for about 5 more hours, played about two hands and then got doubled up and picked up a couple pots so i finished down, but not near where i was...i still hate poker, though.
