How much are your drinking tickets?

Cops don't even bother giving you a ticket for underage drinking here. I'm not even sure if they can. They could confiscate your booze if you are really unlucky though (but it's like once in a lifetime and only if drinking in public places). Ah, living in Europe is great sometimes.

I will be going to UCSB this fall though, luckily I will be 21 but I'm sure I'm gonna get plenty of jaywalking tickets instead. Jaywalking is probably the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard cops give out tickets for.

$360 here at Indiana University.
first time's 360 bucks and a pretrial diversion program with an alcohol class, community service, the works.
I think from then on its a night in jail and up to $300 depending on the circumstances

well the pretrial diversion is something offered exclusively to college kids here, basically its a chance to get off with nothin on your record by spending a night in the drunktank, paying a heck of a lot in court fees and attending a 9 hour alchohol & drug class that'll make you wanna shoot some junk to get over the agony of sitting through it.
i guess the fines and stuff are just higher here, i know a lot of us complain about the drinking tickets a lot

At Illinois they aren't really tickets, they are just citations that don't go on your record, but they send the notice to the University who gives you extra stuff for the student code violation- like an alcohol class and community service.

Its a double edged sword, the bars are 19, but getting caught sucks hard.

Iowa City moved first offense up to 300, second offense is a thousand. I got one here back in the day, and two in champaign-urbana when I schooled there. They were $285 at the time if I recall. Oh yeah and Iowa tailgating > USC.

Jesus I thought I had it bad at Kentucky with $175...that's from city cops though, I have no idea how campus cops handle it.
