mc,

there's no way we are b/f the river. i think that was the point in question. i would b/3b most of the time.

Since you're the BB you can call turn/bet river with a ton of hands that win and some that he won't raise. IE, if the river is a total black, and you're behind, he might not raise better trips cuz you're the BB. I'd do this. I'm never folding.

if he truly is solid, the best way to get at least 3bets in on the big streets may be to call and donk the river. that line will confuse the hell out of alot of opponents.

precisely. You also prevent a fsd and get calls by better hands too.

Oh, thanks for clarifying. Clearly I have to go back and think about this.

I think I am going to call, donk the river, and call a raise there, unless the river is a nine. Then I just keep betting. Maybe on a river nine, I checkraise.

You are worried about playing this hand poorly, and you probably induced a bluff that made you more money than any other line.

I would probably call the turn, and then check/raise/call the river. If he is on air, you earn an extra BB, and lose the same as if you had 3bet and gotten 4bet by a set / bigger T.

I also believe that if he can't fold to a 3bet on the turn, he won't fold to a check/raise on the river if he has an overpair.

I don't think he lets the river check through ever given his play on the flop and turn.

3bet and call down if any more raises go in, imo.
seems like he has an overpair and with your turn donk he doesn't believe you.

[/ QUOTE ]

Ditto above.
