Re: 25NL Two Pair leaking $
Reads for the first call could be that there are usually many callers. KT can't rely on TP value because of domination issues so you may want others to come along to make playing the multiway aspects of the hand profitable.
Reads for second call could be that villian aggressively or randomnly 3bets and is in general a bad player, who goes too far with TP type hands. Note that you get better pot odds than usually in these situations because of the dead money. On the flop you can really only push as every broadway card as you are behind only to KK and lots of cards could put you behind. |

Push the flop because any decent bet commits you anyway?

Re: 25NL Two Pair leaking $
Some points:
1. I didn't give reads for hand 2: villain was a nit, his $12 was 90+% AA/KK/QQ. He proudly typed earlier that only donks go broke w TP. So I think I can get him to lay down AA unimproved on a scary flop/turn. If I actually hit my hand, conversely, I think I can only win a medium pot. Er so reads were wrong! 2. I posted the hand to show the source of the leak which I found subsequent to the earlier discussion, and I thought the posters deserved to see where my problem was after taking the trouble to help. Pre-flop I played it badly (bad reads), but I'm shoving that flop all day long and twice on sundays. I'm ahead and I have no desire to see flop/turn without him paying stack price. Again ty |
