Re: NL200 FR. SB, LP limp, facing raise and re-raise
Grunch; Tough hand. BB has 9x/66, BTN probably also as he is no regular. I'm almost thinking of folding or flatcalling here; shoving only lets worse 9x get away. I think I flatcall and stack off against BTN but not BB.

[ QUOTE ]
Yeah the BB minraiser who is a TAG also presents a problem. I think you either win or lose a humongous pot here, with 6 invested I don't care for the gamble. [/ QUOTE ] I agree. Sidenote: my testicles can fit in a thimble! But seriously, the fact that BB was a TAG regular halted my action. I didn't really care about dufus to my right... |

Re: NL200 FR. SB, LP limp, facing raise and re-raise
So the ending to this hand...
First, I'm suprised noone owned up to this hand or made one of those guesses that only the person at that specific table would have known, but I respect the desire to stay anonymous. After applying a thick layer of vagisil, I FOLD my K9. BB pushes AI, BTN instacalls. BB: 66 (no suprise) BT: 910 (after 100 hands with him, no suprise) ...and now for the best/worst part - Turn: 7 River: 10 TAG says simply: "vnh" Gotta love congratulating bad play in hopes they'll stick around! Re: NL200 FR. SB, LP limp, facing raise and re-raise
Good fold! I think this is what makes a good player, a lay down at the right moment! Overpairs from everyone would have raised that pot. Still we have a bet, a minraise and then a huge raise. Would you reraise being the button with for example 78 after a bet and a raise? I wouldn't... The minraise from the BB looks sooo damn strong at least Q9 and then the reraise still? Good fold!!!

Nice terse assessment of the situation Juu, it sounds like you were right on. This is the sort of analysis I aspire to be able to make.
Nice laydown Lifetest. |
