I don't think QT is particularly likely, but he's much more likely to raise that, where a Q might be good, than T9 where he probably has no 1-pair outs.

Maybe not the right play for him, however, I don't play Ace rag against a field of unknowns OOP. I usually don't play anything but AA/KK for the first two orbits.
I just don't like going up against 3 unknowns OOP with a marginal hand. However, I've been told I love money more than most.

I loathe Ax offsuit, especially OOP, but there's no justification for folding preflop here if you have a modicum of postflop skill.

I check this flop a lot. Once I bet the flop, I fold to the raise a lot but when I don't I just check-fold the turn a lot too.

I think you played the hand well. I could see an argument for just c/f'ing the turn though. I don't understand folding the flop getting 8:1.
