Planning to bet/call a non heart Q or K

[/ QUOTE ]

Q or K completes draws. We'd have to c/c for 1 back to us, c/f if its 2 cold. At best we'd chop if we hit our straight now.

[/ QUOTE ]

You really put people specifically on J8 or QJ?

Bet this flop.

Remember, just because you didn't spike a pair doesn't mean you might not have the best hand. It's 5 handed.

[/ QUOTE ]

Not so much J8, but yes QJ and also KJ are very possible as hands that get played in mp+ me thinks.

yeah tyler, I recognized the same situation from yesterday's thread.

Check and don't be ascared to check AA at an aggressive table!!!!!! It makes people mad when you check raise after you raise preflop! Forcing people into spewing is not stressed enough!

we have overs and WE HAVE A GUTSHOT. we also raised preflop after limpers, who all called. on this board, we're going to be calling one bet or even two if that were the situation, so we might as well put that bet out ourselves. it's both for semivalue and possible fold equity.

Two overcards and 3 outs to the nuts, I'd toss a bet in; you can stand a raise if it comes to that, fold if it's 3bet.

Very easy raise here and in most SH games you can raise any suited-broadways down to JTs and you are neut to +EV which is perfect.

My original read was worded badly. I haven't been to showdown yet, but I have seen a few showdowns and for the most part they were straightfoward hands.

PokerStars 0.50/1.00 Hold'em (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
1 fold, MP calls, Button calls, SB completes, Hero raises, MP calls, Button calls, SB calls.

Ok, so i got one right, yea for me.

Flop: (8 SB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, Hero ??

What now? Is betting into 3 seemingly decent dudes correct here? Do you bet/fold or check/fold either way? If one or more call do you give up barring spiking a K or a Q ?

I've been spewing chips alot lately (lately including the last year) and I would like to stop.
