Why do places cut sarnies in half?

Especially Subway. Pisses me off if i get a foot long and i dont always remember to tell them not to carve it in half.

If i want to eat half, ill stop eating halfway. If i were to share it i can simply rip it in half.

Other than that, nothing to add to thread. Pretty sure ive never had a chicken sandwich from BK but dont do fast food like BK and McD often.

What exactly are the benefits of not having your sub cut?

The best part was how they used to cut it at an angle.

Ease of use mainly. When i eat it, i tend to eat it out of the packaging pulling it out as i go. If its halfed then i have to rip open the paper.

Plus in doing that the filling often falls out of the top half on top of the second half.

Not saying its a huge thing, id just prefer it if they asked if i wanted it cut rather than cutting it unless i specifically tell them otherwise. And if im there with friends im rarely paying much attention cos i tell them the salad and sauce at same time. Ive had a couple occassions where they do it anyway even when i remember.

Sarnie is a pretty common word here in the UK, or at least in the North East of England. Butty is often used, but mainly for chip butties, or bacon butties. In the North West a bread bun is called a Barm Cake (swear to god). That caught me out a few times until i worked it out when started living here.

Why is this post not about the spicy tender crisp?
I think that would be a start at improving the taste of said sandwich...

[/ QUOTE ]

Spicy tendercrisp is nasty. That sauce is totally gross. For spicy chicken sandwiches, the only choices are Wendys and Popeyes LDO.

That is the chicken sandwich I would order from BK. That place is really more about the burgers though. Even then, not a solid top ten favorite of mine.

Wendy's has a sandwich with the same sauce. The one with the pepper jack cheese and jalapenos.

For a chicken sandwich, I'd have to see Cluck U.
