One other thing - is it not true that in marginal spots like this, it doesn't matter what you do?

Though doesn't that maxim typically depend on what one considers to be marginal?

I was thinking about this thread when I read the hand but playing OOP doesn't allow us to control the pot size like it does in the grimstarr example. Also one of amoeba's pros for checking was that we can induce a bluff, only here there's another street to play so we have to know villain's frequency for firing the second barrel for inducing a bluff to be a reason to check. Still don't know what to think here.
