BTW all these stories about courts gone wild are highly fictionalized by the anti-lawyer people. Even when the nutty suits win they almost always get overturned on appeal or have their damages severely reduced, even when they don't there are now laws to limit damages.
In this case I'm sure the Chongs could win a countersuit for mental anguish / harassment and legitimately win a decent amount. |

This is a hilarious story.
What I don't get from the original story is - what kind of lawyer/judge would be worried about maxing out his Visa card from altering a few suits? It sounds like this guy had way too much time on his hands from not working. |
