This is the best advice yet.

After giving this some thought I know believe that he could call the flop with worse hand.

At least the results support this. He called my turn push with KK that only beats a bluff.

yea i'd push the flop. you have tons of equity against JJ+/AK which is probably something like his range here. and maybe he folds KK since he beats nothing.

yeah 30/20 is going to fold KK on QT8 w/ fd in an rr'd pot because obviously the only hands anyone would ever shove all in with are sets and J9

i like calling the flop on this board but shoving is definitely defensible and almost assuredly not *bad*
