P.S. I normally would just cont bet flop, but I was in the mood for mixing it up a bit, and it got me thinking...upon which I came to the conclusion maybe checking behind ocassionally is goot.

You may be right though shpanko, I may've just overthought it.

Oh, I'm never folding. Ever.

But by the turn my read is 90% set on AK, KK, QQ, or JJ.

If he has AK he'll bet river and I can get it in then.

If he has QQ/JJ he may block river.

Am I just a total pleb for thinking calling here is ok?

I just don't see how I get any less value from AK, but I might get that extra blocking bet from lesser hands.
