I hope he wins. It would be nice to see him add a major WPT title to all his other wins.

As far as how he ranks as a NL tournament player, I don't see how you could say anyone else has been better in the last 15 years. His record is pretty amazing.

his record of playing every single NL event is pretty amazing.

[/ QUOTE ]

He skips most of the WPT events.

Good topic.

I second that I hope he wins...Although the blinds will become heavy pretty soon.

I'm hoping that he comes in second to a suckout because it will be great TV.

Agreed.

Optimal scenario. Equal stacks and Donko button open raises with 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and Hellmuth reraises A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and Donko calls.

Flop: A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Hellmuth leads pot and Donko calls.

Turn: 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Hellmuth leads 3/5 pot , Donko pushes and Hellmuth does the patented Hellmuth insta "in your face" snap call.

River: 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Hellmuth asplodes.

That was a stone cold cooler. Only suckouts and stone coolers can keep Hellmuth from totally dominating.

im a big phil hell fan. he has a good heart. and is actually very kind.

I think he is @ his niche right now; CL + playing well. I would expect him to be CL @ final table, and would say if he is CL he prolly has a 1 in 3 chance of taking it down.

Apparently he's not playing his best today. He just told us in an interview that he's playing too loose and seemed to be pretty steamy.

Phil has gone from over 2mil+ in chips down to ~900,000 after losing 2 key hands.

In other news Zeejustin is out and Carlos Mortenson is amongst the chip leaders. Scott Fishman and Can Kim Cua are still in amongst a couple of other known players.
