I had heard about it in the past, but at the time I was listening to a lot of genres that didn't really sync with what I imagined the collection would consist of. Yeah I am really glad I found my way back to it. It's an amazing resource and a lot more diverse than I had imagined.

I downloaded String Cheese Incident Live at hornings hideout 6-19-2004 but I haven't really gotten into it yet. A lot of these artists are new to me so I am taking it slow.

Godspeed You Black Emperor concerts
My Morning Jacket concerts
Ryan Adams concerts
Soul Coughing concerts
Spoon concerts
Calexico concerts

Umphrey's McGee, June 2006

Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, August 2006

Ryan Adams, July 2006

Since you linked Michael Franti instead of Calexico, here is my favorite concert by them on there I think:

Calexico, 4-25-2003

Anyone know of a good FREE utility to convert FLAC to OGG or MP3? All I can find - even off of FLAC's page - are trial versions that don't do a complete job, will only do one or two tracks, etc.

Also, the 2 Skinnee Js show from Recher Theater is great quality.

I talked about this in this thread, but can you really tell the difference between "true" lossless and 500 kbps VBR ? I just downloaded the VBR MP3's, and they sound amazing. the bit rates of most of them are over > 500, with some in the 300's and 400's.

I agree with KB4Z but if you really want to convert FLAC to something (for free) I think you can do it using Winamp. You just need a plugin to play FLAC files and then another that outputs MP3 files.

FLAC plugin

File writer plugin

/edit apparently the newest version of Winamp has FLAC support.
