I've always wanted to know the count of user names contained in the address book in decending order. top 100 for example.

I actually made a tool that could be tweaked a little bit to do this.

Takes friggin forever to run through 100K users, though.

that's cool, but sounds like a lot of work.
I bet is would take about 5 min for someone with database access.

Do you mean users most commonly added to address books?

Unless I am mistaken, this would require either DB access, or access to every individual account.

This is incredibly simple to do (ie, get post count, undertitle, etc). I just don't know how happy Chuck would be if I wrote a script to hit 2+2 100,000 times.

Yes, I agree. That's what I did for the undertitles. And I had it sleep a few seconds between each request to smooth out the hit on the servers over the course of days.

But what I believe brick is curious about is not that easy. Unless I really misunderstood, he is interested in knowing which posters are most frequently added to users' address books. You can't query those without DB access or a valid login for each user.

You have it right. I'm sure it would require database access.
It would be a simple task for someone with database access and SQL skills.
