BONG! word! I think this is it. I wanted a docker anyway for quick detach retach shoot-too-quick goodness. and I'm a big fan of dell anyway, so if I can get a lappy from them and this bad boy I think I'm in business. tahnks again!.

That dock is compatible with most of their new models. Make sure to check bf you buy though. Here's a link to all the docks. keep in mind there are universal models out there that are much cheaper, however I'm not familiar with them or their reliability.

My thinkpad a31p has ports for vga and for s-video out. that's not good two (non-replicating) monitors, is it?
