[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] id say six probably made 2 pair on 4th, and filled up on 7th [/ QUOTE ] It's unlikey for seat 7 to have two pair. He limped early to act so it's unlikely for him to have either a single 9 or a single K down. If he was playing a 3flush with the K, he has a very very easy fold on fifth. That leaves big pocket pairs like AA/KK/QQ. one A is dead and kings just hit a boat, so that leaves queens up, and his play doesnt scream Q up either. Thus nothing that hero beats is likely. He probably started with a hand like (56)6 because that's what he's representing. [/ QUOTE ] The bigredlemon is spot on for the reasons he states. While I am prone to MUBS, I think we really have to lower the likelihood of him having only 2 pair here. I was concerned when he led out on 4th after I caught the scariest card in the deck, but when he check raised 6th, I was almost certain he had a set of Sixes. I was close to a fold on 6th but with the 3rd guy in, it tipped the scales to calling and trying to fill anyhow. I missed and still paid of a river bet and Villain showed 653 in the hole. |

Trip Sixes might be the only hand that makes sense, but it doesn't make that much sense, either. I wouldn't count on anyone at $.50/1.00 doing anything that made sense.

[ QUOTE ]
How close is a fold? What if I call and miss on the River? [/ QUOTE ] Not close; call down, raise/call any boat. |
