Believe me, I am not getting tricky and trying to slow play or anything like that. I am jamming the pot to try and take it down while I have the best hand. Unfortunately my opponents aren't cooperating and they want to see more cards. Cards that almost always help them.

this is such a weak downswing rant that it is really laughable. besides the fact that you probably aren't as good as you think you are (noone is) downswings happen and are much much worse and can last much much longer than this.

Use the search feature and find some really good players on here that have gone on 40k hands worth of breakeven or worse streaks.

if you are going to play limit accept the variance and realize that this isnt the first or last time that this will happen.

get over it.

[ QUOTE ]
I am down 140 BB

Is it even possible to lose $800 in a single session of 5/10 shorthanded limit?

[/ QUOTE ]

Been there multiple times.

Take a couple days off, then keep playing. In a month you'll forget all about this. Also, switch to NL.

I quit limit because losing 100BB+ in a session was becoming very common for me. Of course you might be better than I am, but I expect you haven't played much SH 5/10 if you're posting on BBV about a 140BB downswing like it's a huge deal.

I know its not a huge deal, I'm just frustrated and pissed off and who else am I going to talk to about it? Unfortunately my wife loathes poker. I suppose my Doberman will listen.

Limited hold them doesnt respect your bold and aggresive play. You should move up where your bets and raises are respected.

Or ask the site to take off the doomswitch, it comes out of your MGR but, it is worth it.
