[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] do you really think he calls it? [/ QUOTE ] Yep [/ QUOTE ] I'm much to lazy to do the maths, but wouldn't even a "high stakes" player feel like he _has_ to call after committing so much of his stack? Or conversely, would a high stakes player ever commit that much of his stack on a bluff/something that can't take allin river heat? |

From the 3446 hand, it sounds like he's a hold 'em player who's trying to be decent at Omaha, but is still kind of a donk. From that description, his reraise in the CO means aces about 95% of the time.
If you know for a fact that he has aces, you definitely want to check/raise the flop as you're not getting a lot of value by c/cing and you're giving him a free look at 6 outs on the turn and 9 minimum on the river. If he calls you with his aces and gets in behind, great, but you're perfectly happy to raise him out of the hand. On the river, it looks like AA with ace-high diamonds as even the donkish Omaha players won't usually 4-bet OOP with KK. And I don't think 4-betting something KQJT would even occur to this player. Unless you're up against exactly AAKT here, you're ahead, and with only $1000 left in your stack, I think you're getting called by the flush a lot. Definitely push this. |

you're right.
fwiw i looked through some of my hh's and saw that i had c/r hands like this on the flop recently and the only three times i got action it was a pot sized re-raise back to me and i found myself getting my money in as a flip or a 60/40 dog. that probably had a lot to do with it. i'm really, really surprised this guy doesn't bet this turn. AQJ10 w/ diamonds. I just called, b/c I can't see a worse hand ever calling a raise on the river. he mumbled something about it being unlikely i had a full house and me folding small full houses or whatever. too bad the only time i folded a full house was, well, never. |

but the times you didn't get action, you won a decent poy the pot 100% of the time.
