The river is an easy fold unless your opponent is very aggressive and tricky. The turn really is the interesting part as this is a pretty common situation; I think i may end up calling the turn as you did, but against a tight passive player at this level i think that the smarter move is to just fold.

Just calling the turn is probably best line, i dont think you gain any value on the turn by raising. Nice fold on river if that is what you did

isn't that game like a 40bb buyin? Games must be really good to have a 400bb stack. Is he so passive that he won't call with 33 on the flop? because his turn bet kinda looks like an up and down straight or flush/straight draw and you got rivered. That turn bet looks funky from a this type of player I'd be tempted to raise it. From a TP player a bet like this looks like he's looking for a reason to fold or he's on a draw. Raising looks ok on the turn

I called turn and folded river. Turn raise seems to suck since I'm not really protecting much of a hand
