Yea awesome tension with the boat, but kinda blah other than that, way too much with Junior and that kid. I thought it was kind of an odd coincidence with that Asian kid and his problems fitting in society and rage stuff with what happened recently, not exactly the same thing at all obviously but I kept thinking about it, just a timing thing.
Also, I found it was interesting that last weeks ep had Tony placing a bunch of 5k bets on the phone for himself, which I dont remember him doing in older seasons, then he asks Hesh for 200k because hes running bad, then in the previews it looks like he starts gambling more and is losing a lot (the spec house maybe?), interesting as one of the few flashbacks of Tony and his dad were where he was told when he was young to never gamble. It just looks like theyre gonna run with it a lot. EDIT: The shot at the end with Juniors scowl with the cat was so awesome. |

Another great episode. I enjoyed the Junior storyline much more than the rest. This show has been on a roll since coming back from break. [/ QUOTE ] I don't know that I would call it a "great" episode. I would put it in the 50th percentile. |

[ QUOTE ] The Paulie and Junior stories tonight don't seem to have anywhere to go. The overall story arc wasn't advanced much and that's a dissapointment. [/ QUOTE ] I disagree with you about the Paulie storyline though. Doubt is beginning to creep into Tony's mind about whether he'd be able to count on Paulie if he was facing a long prison stint. [/ QUOTE ]\ I think it got resolved when Tony decided not to do anything. The final Tony scene basically told us that Tony is just going to endure Paulie's yacking. Is Bobby going to do anything sometime soon? |

A few other interesting bits I noticed.
Larryboy Barese now working with the government. He has never been a central character to the show, but has always been a high ranking member of the Soprano family(captain). I cant remember any dealings Tony has had with him recently, but certainly they were involved in plenty back before he was arrested in season 1. Also, this episode suggested that Paulie is 15-20 years older than Tony, making him about 65. He mentioned that he remmebered when Tony was born, which suggests he was already working for Johnnyboy. Surely he at least 16. I always figured Paulie to be in his mid to late 50s. But then when you think about, he wouldve been back when the show began. |

Anybody think there's any significance to Tony being in a tomato garden early in the episode? Vito died in his tomato garden.
Also, Santoro's execution....right through the eye, ala Moe Green. Why all the GF1 references? |

To me it seems as if they are giving each character reasons to whack Tony, next week they may show Silvio's.

I thought this episode was really unimpressive. Just a lot of random [censored] happening.
