I really don't get why there isn't more discussion about the turn bet ...

you bet an almost completely dry flop and got called in 3 spots ... I generally can't bring myself to bet this (unless I have more info on the field, and game)

I agree with PB that the turn should be interesting too. But since we bet the turn we should bet the river. If we slowed on the turn the river is different. Assuming no one has a King or a fluke 2 pair, I would say we're good on the river as straights are less likely since we hold half the jacks.

check-and-see ... as stated in my post - depends on who is who ... but you're probably not good here against 3 caller (unless you are playing in games with complete morons ... and I'm pretty sure that at full-tilt 1-2 the general player is not a 50/1/.5 wts 60% type)

Bet this River

I can find about 50 other threads saying the exact same thing being said in this thread. There is SO much junk that's calling you on the turn and river that you beat it's not even funny.

you guys are seriously looking at this hand backwards.

when we are behind, what will happen? can we ever check/fold? will he ever check behind a better hand?

if not, then we must bet.

this has nothing to do with equity, and nothing to do with what worse hands he is calling with.

i don't see how these two hands relates ... your example has a very draw heavy board and only two opponents and hero has TPTK untill the river and I would think if the King helped someone they would have bet ... this board is super dry and if only one caller it's an easy bet. But, with 3 callers they all can't have pocket eights

Definitely good on the river. A bet here will be right more than it's wrong against LP's.
