How little is little? If he's nine or older, then I'd think this was puberty. If younger, then he'll still get erections, but it shouldn't be all the time. Get him into the doctor to make sure everthing is o.k. I don't think you'd want to prevent this from happening, as it is to some degree normal. And the other kid's reactions are typical. They'll relax a little when the girls have growing breasts to deal with and the other boys also start with their own uncontrollable erections.

Sweetie,first off this is simply meaning he is growing up.Males of all ages at one point or another get erections,and often times it does not even mean they are excited.You cannot make him feel ashamed,because it is apart of getting older and maturing. Possibly,get him so "looser" fitting clothes.It may help "hide" it a little better,but there really isnt anything that you can do to "Stop" it.It happens,and thats just apart of growing up.He will soon become comfortable in the fact,that this happens to have every male.If he consistantly,went to the toilet every time he had an erection,i doubt he would get much class time.As you said yourself,they are uncontrollable.If he doesnt know when they are coming,he cant prevent them and neither can you.The best advice i can give you hun,is to purchase some clothing(bottoms and tops) that fits a tad bit more loose.You could also buy him shirts,that are a tad bit loose,not three sizes too big,maybe go up a size or two and that way they will hang down over his bottoms.Good luck hun,and have a good day!
