I think there are lots of "nice guy" poker players and they are the biggest hustlers of all. Doyle, Daniel, Ted Forrest all obey the first rule of the hustle, be nice to the fish. These guys are not wholesome by any stretch, they are nice to you because they want you to have a nice time while they take your money. They do not play poker for the intellectual challenge, they play because they have an edge. Offering to flip coins with someone when you have a 55/45 edge will never be wholesome.

So a guy who is playing in a chess tourny cant be nice against his opponents when he has an skillwise edge on him without making him a hussler?

wait wtf, are we listing a-holes or stand up people cause i'm seeing a lot of both, so there are either a lot of misinformed people in posting in this thread, or people who doesn't understand what they're supposed to post about.

3. Never tip a dealer who interferes with the play of a hand, or gets involved in table banter while in the box.

?????? ??????? ?????? why cant a dealer get involved in table banter? aslong as he doesnt slow the game down
